Perched atop Baltimore's abandoned Westport Generating Station, I made one of my favorite surprise discoveries: A narrow gauge railroad used to deliver coal to the furnaces

What are the best/your favourite open world games from before 2001?
Hogwarts, transphobia, murder.
Hogwarts, transphobia, murder.
This is the problem. This is why your excuses don't matter. Because they see you playing the wizard game, and they think you're on their side. They think everyone is on their side cause everyone is playing the wizard game, that they're right, that Joanne is right, and that we're less than human, so they murder us.
Hey #ScreenshotSaturday, another #ProjectWeirdLittleGuy update! Clover asked "Do we have a day night cycle?" and I answered "We can!"

Microsoft has always had a great philosophy around accessibility and introduced me to the idea of temporary disability. It’s a great way to broaden one’s perspective on how much impact making your product more accessible has.
This is how you review an antisemitic, transphobic, piece of shit video game: you roast it in the review and turn the buy link into a donation to Trans Lifeline.

Does anyone have examples of tool/weapon durability systems in games that they really liked and felt like it helped keep them engaged?
Once AI works out how to do hands then this deepfake crap is going to be one of the biggest problems the world has faced. It has the potential to be extremely damaging and we are sleepwalking into a nightmare with this. I hate everything about it.

"It's like Twitter but you can only post once per day" would actually be a pretty good novelty Mastodon fork
Twitter is telling people who have posted just once that they are “over the daily limit for sending tweets,” and won’t allow them to post. I am currently blocked from posting on Twitter. DMs are also down.

I finished making the tiles and miraculously it looks like I got the maze generation code right. Now to generate some colliders from those deformed meshes. (And also get shadows working.)

@KoHoSo@mastodon.social surely getting the cat out of the tree makes you the new fireman?
StreetPass is a cool new browser extension that uses Mastodon's verification system in a clever way.
Mastodon users verify themselves by adding a custom link to their personal site. StreetPass lets you know when you've found one of these links, and adds them to your list. As you browse the web, StreetPass will build a list of Mastodon users that belong to the websites you visit.
I spoke with the creater @tvler about the project, 🧵 below.
