Ok listen, the Goncharov fandom might be less explicitly gatekeepy than the Ships Of The Northern Fleet fandom but TBH Goncharov fandom is way more snooty than SOTNF. Like, you need a film degree to understand most stuff the Goncharov fandom is talking about, at least SOTNF fandom is accessible.
Evening mograph. I really have no idea what tf, but it kinda sloshes around in a pleasant way. It started as a plexus animation, then I was like... what if lots and lots of these? And it started to look disturbingly like an alien life form of some sort.

@carrideen@c18.masto.host @22@octodon.social @mxtiffanyleigh@wandering.shop Really interested to watch the progression as all these social media sites that brag about their chronological timelines start to realise why twitter had an algorithmic timeline in the first place and slowly start replicating it.
The little house went through hard times but got a new purpose... It's an inn now!
Fashionable Elden Ring hats. Made using the universally-loved MSPaint-palette.
...hoping to use THIS construction for accessing files, tho!

Ok so I made a thing. I know I wasn't going to but I remembered Tracery exists and it does a lot of the stuff I wanted my theoretical tool to do, including variable storage. This still doesn't do everything I want and I'm likely to iterate on it to make it nicer, especially if I get good feedback. But for now it at least... does the thing. You put tables in, you get rolled results back. The format is roughly compatible with Markdown without requiring me to do markdown's horrid table syntax and I don't have to type all the json syntax that Tracery wants.
The most impressive thing about Mastodon, really, is that in the year 2022 it's created a whole new kind of internet drama. Moderation and defederation drama is kind a whole new level of thing.
Hey, just a reminder, there are some sites that let you register/login with twitter. Have you ever used that option? Might want to go and see if there's a way to change your login option for those sites. You know, just in case.
Made a font for your cyber adventures.
I like making fonts that are less legible for reading and make creating cryptic symbols easier.
The big red symbols on the left say "ancient". On the right is says "futures". Just fun.
It's PWYW on hinokodo.itch.io for a week.
And my pride and joy: GOAT (Godot Open Adventure Template), a framework for making 3D interactive first-person games:
Yes donating to the admin is nice, but have you considered we can use this energy to build institutions for actual user power?
Large scale user unions which fund the systemic development and sustainability of this environment? That fund moderation labor across the network?
Democratic institutions that can push back simultaneously against Big Tech, BDFL like Mastodon and misguided legislation to regulate the internet?
Umbrella organizations that can shield users from arbitrary abuses of instances and simultaneously assist teams running instances with legal issues, know-how, funds and best practices?
We're currently only scratching the surface of what federated social networks can be and we need to be way more ambitious.
Anyone recommend me a really good actual play of Mork Borg? Ive tended to watch ActualPlay, Dimension20, and Roll20 Presents but I don't think any of them have played it.
